Surfing

Surfing is hard to do and it takes years of practice to master it. Surfing is likely invented in Hawaii in ancient times. They use much longer boards that the boars used today. It was a very important part of ancient Hawaiian culture and even chiefs have to be good surfers. Outsiders first learned about surfing in 1778, after the British explorer Captain James Cook arrived in Hawaii with his ships but unfortunately angry Hawaiians killed Captain Cook when he tried to kidnap their chief and from then on surfing was brought to the world.

Songs I Totally Like

My favourite songs I listen to are from Rihanna, Avril Lavinge, Linkin Park, Alvin and The Chipmunks and especially, Gundam SEED Destiny. It is actually quite unbelieveable that I like songs from Japanese animes and maybe some of you may or may not have heard songs from this anime. I liked these types of songs as it is actually nice to listen to them even though I do not understand the language they are singing. I also listen to songs from movies like Step Up 2 The Streets.

Look at what these Lunatics are building

A group of people were hard at work at the Bedok Reservior and they are the Lunatics, who like nightmarish work. They are preparing for the closing act of the Singapore Arts Festival titled "Hydro Sapiens"which is a fifty-minute performance based on a love story. This performance is described as a "water fantasy". I feel that the stage will look great once it is completed and ready to show the public the performance and wished it would become a success.

My Reasons for Becoming A Scientist

The first thing why I wanted to be a scientist is that science is quite a fascinating subject to me and it has quite a lot of meaning to me. There are so many branches of science in the world and my key interests is in astronomy and chemistry. Well, I am always being told that it is crazy and impossible but I know that I can become one someday despite everyone's irritating words and their alternative ideas for me.

Reading Reflection 2

I have readthis book called "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" and it is one of my past favourites. This book is about a boy named Charlie Bucket who bought a chocolate bar and found a ticket to a chocolate factory. When he got there, he found out the wonders of the factory and some unlucky things happened to the other kids. This book is really a good book to read when you are bored.

My Obsession With Computer Games

I am someone who loves to play computer games almost like everyday that I totally forgot of what is going on around me. Well, I usually play this strategy game called "Conquest Frontier Wars". This game is about three races of people who had an inter-galactic war among each other. The three races are named, Terran,Mantis and Celareon races. Each race had different technologies and had different dependencies, ore, gas and crew. Anyway, no one can ever stop me from playing computer games and I just want to play more of them.

Reading Reflection

There is this book that I read recently which has the title "Horrible Science- Shocking Electricity''. This book shows all the horrible but true facts about electricity. There was one part of the book whereby a person got zapped by lightning in order to find out more about it? Anyway, this book made me laugh out loud as the gruesome experiments were totally having funny results.I would recommend this book as this book has a lot of things about electricity to talk about

My Visit to Kallang Leisure Park

During the holidays, I went to Kallang Leisure Park to try out something new. I tried out ice-skating first and it was not easy for me to learn that as maybe I do not have experience on skating. It was hard at first as I tried to balance myself. I was then able to skate around with ease and had a lot of fun on the ice. I ate my lunch after that and went on to try out bowling. The bowling balls were very heavy and even though the smallest size is 6, it is still a bit heavy. I was lucky to get a few strikes at my first try. It was a fun visit to Kallang Leisure Park and I would plan to go there again with my friends.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The story is about a boy who was being an apprentice to a sorcerer and encountered the dark arts and learned about it and used it to fight with the sorcerer. The sorcerer's apprentice was a smart boy who quite liked sorcery and was an adventurous boy. The sorcerer was an evil man who would use sorcery to wreck havoc all over the place and shows no one any mercy. "The time is not yet ripe" means that the time to do something is not right yet and have to wait for the right time to do so. I feel that this story is interesting as there a lot of fantasy and magic in the story and I like stories that have to with magic and fantasy.

Fly Around Outer Space

I feel that blogging is a new thing to me and I am excited to learn about this new skill.
I am happy with my results as firstly, I am the top science scorer in the class and I got Grade A and Grade B for all my subjects except art which is a Grade C5. I am planning to visit my cousins who migrated to Sydney, Australia and I am sure we will have fun there.
